In every child there is something precious that there is in no other. At Kids’ Mansion, we nurture wonder, embrace joy and foster discovery so that the unique abilities of every child grow and blossom to the fullest, preparing them for the world ahead.
Founded in 2011 at Tradehub21, Kids Mansion is an infant and childcare centre that has consistently scored well in inspections by the government authorities. It was acquired in 2019 by a group of experienced international education providers. Our current stakeholders and partners include:
Benny Lim Lee Director and Principal
Mr. Benny embarked on a mid-career switch to the early childhood sector in 2007. He has worked in project and inquiry-based mega centres, Montessori preschool and inclusive institutions for children with special needs. Mr. Benny holds a Diploma in Early Childhood Education (Teaching and Leadership) and a Degree in Early Childhood Education with Management (BECEM). He is a MCYS scholar and has been featured in the Straits Times, Channel8 and Starhub TV for his role in the preschool sector. Prior to his work with children, Mr. Benny hails from the hospitality industry as Director of Sales in various 5-star hotels. He also holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree in International Tourism and Hospitality Management.
Yee Jenn Jong Director
Mr Yee is a seasoned education entrepreneur who has founded several start-ups, including ASKnLearn, The Learning Grid, 360 Education and Ignium Academy, and served as General Manager / Director in preschool groups. He has mentored successful start-ups such as KooBits and Miao Academy. He had served in the college and school advisory board of Temasek Junior College and Naval Base Primary School. He has twice received the Service to Education Award from MOE, the Distinguished Alumnus Award from Temasek Junior College, and the Excellence in E-Learning Award from the World Education Congress.
Mr Yee has served in national committees including the InfoComm Education Workgroup by IDA, ACE Start-Up by SPRING Singapore and the Policy Workgroup on Education by REACH Singapore. He was also in the EXCO of the Singapore IT Federation (E-Learning Chapter) and a member of Singapore’s 12th Parliament.
Mr Yee was the lead consultant to the government of Bhutan in the development of their ICT Masterplan for Education in 2013 and was a consultant to publishing giant Houghton-Mifflin Harcourt.
Mr Yee graduated with Honours and Masters in Computer Science from the National University of Singapore (NUS), and MBA from the Nanyang Business School (NTU) on an OCBC Bank Scholarship. He won the Computer Science Book prize and Academic Excellence Award at Temasek Junior College, and the Li Jen Industry prize for the top honours’ year project at NUS.
Teng Cheong Thye Director
Mr. Teng has had 18 years of experience in the fund management industry investing in the stock markets of the Asia-Pacific region for the Government of Singapore Investment Corporation (GIC). He was a diplomat for Singapore on the elite Administrative Service scheme before joining GIC. He had held senior positions in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs such as First Secretary of the Singapore Embassy in Tokyo and head of the Vietnam, Laos & Cambodia division. While in GIC, his key appointments included Head of Taiwan equities, Head of China equities and Chief Representative of GIC in Japan. After retiring from GIC in 2012, he went to Myanmar to create new ventures that promote capacity development in Myanmar especially in the human resource areas. One such venture is the Shenton Education Group (SEG) which conducts quality international education from preschool to tertiary levels across Myanmar. Mr. Teng graduated with a Bachelor of Economics degree from Hitotsubashi University in Japan on a Singapore government scholarship.
Patty Pan, Director
Patty Pan is representative for The Children’s Place Pte Ltd (TCP), a premier international bilingual childcare in Singapore established since 1983 and operating off Tanglin Road. TCP is founded by Juliet McCully who studied Speech Therapy on a Colombo Plan scholarship in U.K. before returning to start and head the Speech Therapy Department at the Singapore General Hospital. TCP was acquired in 2017 by Shanghai-based education entrepreneurs and now has a joint venture premier preschool in the heart of Tianjin city in China. Kids’ Mansion is an affiliate of TCP, sharing in its rich education resources and its linkage with China for Chinese content.

The Learning Grid (TLG) Group (www.12learn.net) – TLG operates 360 Education in partnership with renowned TV Artist Øistein Kristiansen. 360 Education is a top art provider for students from 3 to 16 years old and for teachers. Mr Er Kwong Wah Independent Director on the Boards of Several Public Companies
A Colombo Plan and Bank of Tokyo Scholar, Mr Er Kwong Wah obtained a first-class honors degree in Electrical Engineering at the University of Toronto, Canada, in 1970 and an MBA from the Manchester Business School, University of Manchester in 1978. Mr. Er spent 27 years in the service of the Singapore Government. He held Permanent Secretary Position first with the Ministry of Education from 1987-1994 and then with the Ministry of Community Development until his retirement in 1998. After his retirement from the civil service, Mr. Er was Executive Chairman of Sembawang Maritime and Logistic Ltd till 2001 and then Executive Director of East Asia Institute of Management (EASB) till 2016. As Permanent Secretary of Education, Mr. Er was involved in the planning and development of three universities, four polytechnics, the Institute of Technical Education, numerous schools in Singapore and the Singapore International School in Hong Kong. After retiring from the Singapore Civil Service, he was actively involved in the Education Sector as a Governor of United World College of South East Asia, Member of the Board of Trustee of SIM University and Member of the Board of Governors of Raffles Institution in Singapore. At present, he sits as an independent director on the Boards of several public companies listed in Singapore and in Hong Kong. Mr. Er has also served as:

Teo Lay Leng Co-founder Ignium Academy and Educator
Ms Teo is a highly experienced educator who has taught Mathematics and Science in primary schools since 1992 after she graduated from the National University of Singapore. She obtained her Postgraduate Diploma in Education from the Nanyang Technological University and assumed the role of Head of Science in 1997 in a primary school. Ms Teo left MOE in 2008 and continued to excel as a private tutor and author. She has taught over 2,000 primary school students in the past 25 years, specialising in preparing students for the Primary School examinations. Many of her students have attained excellent results, graduating amongst the top in Singapore, and have gone on to study at top secondary schools. Ms Teo has also authored various popular Primary Science and Mathematics assessment books that are still being used by top schools to supplement their teaching curriculum. Ms Teo will advise on preparing children for the primary schools and in academic development for Kids’ Mansion.
