In February and March; Kids Mansion held a series of weekend art sessions with parents and children. Here are some exciting Picasso styled pieces by our participants, Roosters in oil pastel on black paper, guitars in collage style and self-portrait in cubism style.
What happens when you cannot buy sanitizers because they have been sold out? Be resilient - Make your own!
The N2 kids learnt how to make sanitizer and bottled them to give to their fellow students and to teachers at Kids Mansion, the Art & Science Preschool.
As the theme this month is My Body, the children also learnt about their senses through this creation process - sight, smell, touch as they smell the fragrant ingredients, observe the colours and feel the materials. Science is about experimenting and they experienced how these different things come together to be effective to kill off viruses and bacteria and yet be good smelling. They also learnt how to keep their hands and body clean, and of course how to care for others by sharing good stuff with them. Well done N2 kids!
